Arcus sells E-Fibre to Open Dutch Fibre

May 2022

E-Fiber Exploitatie B.V. (“E-Fiber”), the 3rd largest fibre-to-the-home (“FTTH”) network owner in the Netherlands was acquired by Open Dutch Fiber B.V. (“ODF”), a portfolio company of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (“KKR”) and Digital Transformation Capital Partners (“DTCP”).

E-Fiber was majority owned by Arcus Infrastructure Partners (“Arcus”) since May 2018. During its ownership, E-Fiber has grown its business by more than 7x in terms of homes passed.

E-Fiber complements the strategic focus of ODF to not only continue rolling out fibre in urban and semi-urban areas but also in less dense areas across the Netherlands. Both companies will benefit from a complimentary footprint and various synergies.
